There are several different options for downloading PDFs. The way a PDF downloads depends on how your computer is set up. The following are possible options for a PDF download:
- it opens in Adobe Acrobat Reader (you see the opened PDF in Adobe Reader on your computer screen)
- it opens in another browser window (you see the opened PDF in a different browser tab)
- it saves in your Downloads folder (you see a link to the PDF in your downloads folder)
- you get a prompt asking what you want to do with the file
Regardless of which way the PDF downloads, it is important is that you save the file and remember where you saved it, because you will need to access it again. Clicking on download may open the file, but if it does not, you can right click and choose Save As or Save Link As and put it in the folder of your choosing.
